McKaya McDonald, CSR

Commissioner of Oaths in Alberta and Ontario.

McKaya's roots are southern Alberta, and she is proud to call Lethbridge home. After excelling in rigorous machine shorthand speed testing and graduating with honours from the NAIT Captioning and Court Reporting program, she immediately began her work as a freelance stenographer.

With experience at five firms and most of her experience being with large-scale companies in Ontario, her passion for court reporting has led her to found Roots Reporting, a fresh option in the field of court reporting and transcription.

McKaya and the Roots team are excited to serve law firms in Lethbridge and beyond to give your business accessible, professional, and timely reporting services tailored to your needs.
